- HKMRDA organised the “Montessori Asia Conference Hong Kong 2017” with The Education University of Hong Kong, American Montessori Society, Association of Children Education International--Hong Kong & Macau and Montessori Asia
- Chairperson Daisy Lau cooperate with the Education Universtity of Hong Kong on the project “Root of Peace”, to promote peace education in primary schools
- The fourth HKMRDA Infant and Toddler Teacher Education Programme was launched in Hangzhou
2015
- Hong Kong University Graduates Association Education Foundation Conference 2015: Founding Chairman Ralph Yau was invited to give a talk on Montessori Education
- Montessori Conference in Shanghai 2015: Chief Executive Daisy Lau presented “The Art of Parent Education”
- Chief Executive was invited to HKIEd to give a talk on “Starting Young: Montessori Education” to Hong Chi Schools.
- The second HKMRDA Infant and Toddler Teacher Education Programme was launched in Hong Kong.
- The third HKMRDA Infant and Toddler Teacher Education Programme was launched in Dalian and Chengdu.

- Hong Kong Institute of Education Conference on Professional Development: Chief Executive Daisy Lau shared “Education for Life”
- Education Conference: “Modern Chinese Educators: The Theory and Practice of Tao Xingzhi and Chen Heqin”: coorganised with the Baptist University
- The first HKMRDA Infant and Toddler Teacher Education Programme was launched in Hong Kong.

- Montessori Asia Conference in Moscow: chairman Ralph Yau presented “A Participatory Model: How do Montessorians Cope with the Fast-changing Society”.

- The first American Montessori Society (AMS) Teacher Education Programme in Hong Kong.
- Montessori Asia Conference in Singapore: Chief Executive Daisy Lau presented “The Art of Observation”
- Montessori Asia Conference in Taipei: HKMRDA chairman presented presented “Preventive Education and Preventive Medicine: The Normalization of Parents” and Chief Executive Daisy Lau presented the dissertation titled “The Beginning: The Art of Parent Education”
2011
- Our founders were on the discussion panel at the Montessori Asia Conference at Beijing.
- Chosen by the 63rd OMEP (World Organization for Early Childhood Education) World Conference as a visiting school site in Hong Kong.
- Parent education:Provision of parent education in Dalian, Shenzhen, Nanning of Guangxi, Macau, and Hong Kong.
- Teacher Training: Provision of teacher training for about a hundred kindergartens in Dalian, Nanning of Guangxi, and Hong Kong
2010
- Chairman Ralph Yau was on the discussion panel at the Montessori Asia conference in Seoul Korea. He also presented “Montessori Education and Chinese Medicine” and “The Key to Running Montessori Parent Education Programmes”
- Ambassador Soliven from UNESCO (United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organizations), the founder of O.B. Montessori Center in the Philippines, visited HKMRDA and Infinity Children’s School (a Montessori School) and engaged in close and constructive dialogues with our parents and directresses.
- Chairman and Chief Executive Daisy Lau were invited to attend a panel discussion on “The Integration of Western Educational Approaches and Chinese Traditional Culture” in Nanjing. Descents of the renowned Chinese educator Chen He Qin were also at the meeting.
- Educators and Kindergarten principles from Shandong, Hangzhou, Nanning, and Shenzhen came to HKMRDA for cultural exchange
- The Grand Opening ceremony of the Hong Kong Montessori Research and Development Association (HKMRDA) was held in the summer of 2010. Many honorable guests attended the event such as the Founder of Chinese Montessori Foundation Mr. Jimmy Po, an eminent educator in China and Hong Kong Ms. Chan-Chen Shu-an, the Chief Executive Officer of American Montessori Society Mr. Richard Ungerer, the Director of Teachers Training of American Montessori Society Ms. Doris Sommer, the director of Montessori Research Institution in Japan Mr. Kimitoshi Matsuura, the Board Chairman of Montessori Research Foundation in Taiwan Ms. Angel Zhou and the Manager of Nienhuis Montessori in Netherlands Mr. Christian Willemsen.
